I personally wouldn't put an incentive on a failed ring war. Perhaps, adding a benefit of the Dain popping on a completed ring war instead might solve a non variance spawn.

Dain spawning from a failed war isn't correct though. It will likely get fixed soon so can't really be used as anything official (currently exploitable)
