I got hit by "Disease" in the warrens... having it stick for more than one hour and a half, I investigated it a bit... it should last 15minutes... after investigating a bit more it seems that the 15minutes duration was only added on 2003 on lucy...
I'm not sure whether the "unlimited" duration was classic or if it just comes from partial information on lucy, but either way, it is painful... specially since SK won't get cure disease for lots of time...

well, I was typing a bug request, then investigated a bit more... to see that this was likely working as expected. seen how the warrens were crowded on live I'm a bit surprised to see no mention of this on zam... nor have I found any significant changes on the patch notes. unlimited duration disease is clearly OP and not wanted but there's no tidbit indicating if Disease was unlimited or not in 2001. so no reason to post a bug but I still had to share that [You must be logged in to view images. Cleric
Shaman
Druid
Paladin
Necro
SK

Should be possible to find one of them or (even better) group with one. Just another way for good old EQ to promote class inter reliance.
