Quest Issue: Idol of Decay + The Four Idols

Hey guys

It seems that "Idol of Decay" is currently not in the game. This is the fourth Idol that is needed to complete The Four Idols quest.

The P99 wiki and ZAM both report that the Idol of Decay should drop from "a cleric of Vallon Zek" http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=11795. However the cleric instead only drops "Idol of Disease" which has a similar icon but is not the same thing.

We have seen many dozens of the other three idols (Disease, Corruption, Erosion) while never seeing a single Idol of Decay. There is no indication anywhere that Decay was much harder to find, and probably more than a coincidence considering the Vallon Cleric drops the wrong item with an identical icon.

Much appreciated if you guys can check this out.

I know a couple people who have completed this quest so its definitely in game, just bad luck I imagine.

I have finished this quest and helped several others by MQing Idols. There def was rumblings about Decay being very rare on the ZAM comments from the quest.

I just completed this quest last night! Finally.

The mobs that drop them are in Kael Drakkel Arena.

Idol of Corruption drop off Gkrean Prophet of Tallon
Idol of Disease drop off Semkak Prophet of Vallon
Idol of Erosion drop off Priest of Vallon/Tallon
Idol of Decay drop off Cleric of Vallon/Tallon
(Seems same as some others who have posted)

The First 3 were very easy to obtain and were fairly regular drops. The final Idol of Decay was a SUPER rare. We'd gone to the Arena many many times and had never seen one drop and I had started to believe it was a myth. ;p But... it wasn't it finally did drop off of a Cleric.


I have not really gone for these mobs in the past weeks to know if something changed from launch when I actually did the quests myself.

id assume its just RNG bad luck as there are only a few 'cleric of tallon zek' possible to spawn and even then they could spawn as 'cleric of vallon zek' or whatever the other type is that isnt the named
