Dartain the Lost - agro through door

This guy is in the hole behind a boulder door, door is locked and requires 201+ lockpicking (unsure if there was ever a real key to get to him), yet he agros through the door making the challenge of getting to him easier (i.e. don't need a rogue in your group).

I admit that I don't know if this was a flaw that existed in live, but just seems like he's behind a locked door for a reason.
