On Tuesday, Univision aired a report in which “Miguel,” a man wearing a disguise to conceal his identity, alleged he had sex with Mateen after meeting him on the gay dating app, Grindr. He said Mateen had sex with other men too, including a threesome with a Puerto Rican who allegedly told Mateen, after having had unprotected sex with him, that he was HIV positive.

But investigators do not consider the man’s account credible, according to one senior law enforcement official with access to the investigation.

Would be interesting to know why gay people would make up stories that someone who murdered a bunch of them was actually one of them. Must be to disparage the poor bastard's image!

I don't see how that is a winning strategy for the left. The 'best' is to just leave him as a self-loathing gay Muslim seeking redemption. It is far easier to blame society for creating a sense of alienation, hopelessness and justified anger that way.

This is attempt to link Christians, who the Left deem responsible for Gay Hate to this "Act of Terrorism". If they can muddy the information pipeline enough people will sub-consciously ignore the ISLAMIC ties and just chalk it up to the ANTI-GAY "ideal" as a "whole" which is predominantly juxtaposed upon Christianity.
