Old Solusek Ro player here for the Nostalgia

Hi community!

I can't believe I (and many others) started this game back in 99...17 years. Wow. Was excited to find project1999 a while ago but never got around to signing up. And it seems the population is steady, which is fantastic.

EQ pre-expansions was definitely the most fun I've ever had in any game, of all time. Here was a game built for the little things, in a new era of gaming, concerned more with community than end-game. There was always people roleplaying, starting fun events, having meetings in some of those abandoned buildings, great gm events, learning ingame languages, etc. Here was this giant world (yay for necessary 1st person view) where your friends are giants or little people, it takes hours for you to run anywhere, and there is Risk (timesink) all around. I was part of a guild that did a lot of game firsts so that was always exciting.

For the old Sol Ro guys...I was Human SK 'Euthan' of 'Paradigm' back then

I'm going to try an Erudite SK as 'Euthan' this time around, as I like the look and the combo wasn't around on release. Need an alt solo class for casual play but undecided on that right now...

Hah, I was also an old school sol ro player. I was a human warrior in <destiny> named Gein. I remember paradigm but sadly I don't think we ever met.

I played Sol Ro from 2001 until 2008 or so when they merged with Bristlebane.

Was a Barbarian Rogue named Sebastionleo, originally in Wolf Pact, and then Triadica which is where I raided Luclin and PoP raids.
