Popular Camp Names for Zones
Does anyone know a website or forum post that lists out all the camp names?
For example, I recently grouped in Northern Ro and people reffered to it as " derv3 " in ooc. Would love to know the camp names, or see them on a map so I know where to go in the future when I join a group. | ||

Easier said than done. They varied from server to server. To me, derv 3 is on the south wall. Derv 1 has D'Vinn and derv 2 is near the ruins. I've seen people number them differently....

this is part of the fun of the game.. exploring and conquering new places and memorizing them. When i started there were no maps anywhere and it was rewarding to "get to know" the zones. Although most people here know most of the popular zones people are friendly here and will usually take you to the camp or describe to you how to get there. Have fun!

I don't think there's a list out there, although that would be useful! Here's what I know [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Others may feel free to correct me or add to the list.
CC doesn't often get called in open/outdoor zones. Exceptions: Nro, Oasis, Feerrott North Ro: Derv 1: #5 on map, with Dorn Derv 2: #7 on map, between derv 1 and derv 3 Derv 3: #10 on map, near Oasis zone Oasis: Docks: not really a camp but a landmark, #2 on map P1: pillar one, just south of docks (the giant stone pillar situated just offshore), a safe place to sit and med if doing crocs along the beach Spectres: #4 on map, spectre island in the middle of the actual oasis (aqua goblins are underwater near here, but not commonly called in CC) Orc highway: A spot where a ton of orcs path, right along the dried riverbed by the 'fake' zoneline on the west side, almost directly west of the docks (bit south of the docks), somewhere around +800, +1600ish Temple: bit rarer, #1 on the map South Ro: No one calls CC here, so I don't know the names if there are any. Innothule Swamp: Not really much CC calling here, but... Shadowed men: #4 on map, giant hand Guk entrance: Uguk entrance Upper Guk: Heart Spiders: #18 on map Scryer room: #15 on map Shin Lord: #17 on map Crocs/ancient croc: #2 on map Fungus Mutant/fungus men: #11 on map Lower Guk: Frenzied/frenzy: #7 on map AM/archmagi: #5 on map Bedroom: #6 on map Ass/sup: #14 on map Savant: #15 on map Safe hall: Close to frenzy, relatively speaking, I believe - someone more familiar with lguk can comment on this Feerrott: Mostly this is a newbie zone, but there is one camp of note... Spectres: Not just #9 on the map, but the corner where #9 is as well. These can be split into two, also. Rathe Mountains: Open zone, not really any camps, but general areas of note... HG/hill giants: #19 on map Giant skeletons: #6 on map Bear mountain: #3 on map Lake Rathetear: Same as Rathe Mtns, but several areas of note... Cleric epic/Druid epic mobs + wizard quest Staff of the Wheel ground spawn + mobs who drop stuff for Sol Ro Paladin armor quest: Underwater tower, #14 on map, right at the top Shmendrik Lavawalker (cleric epic): #3 on map Gnolls: #2 on map, has drops Skull of Jhen'Tra and Runed Totem Staff South Karana: Spires (gnolls at the spires): #6 on map Hermit: #7 on map KFC: #9 on map, aviak city near Lake Rathe zone Grimrot: #1 on map Quillmane: Quillmane is NOT a camp, but if you have friends helping, you can definitely call him. See wiki page on him for more detail. North Karana: Gypsies: Not a camp, a landmark and the only spot you can bind a melee class between Highpass Keep and Qeynos/Surefall Glade. SK bridge guards: technically not a camp either but you will find people killing guards here quite often. Just south of #11 (wizard spires) on map. Raiders/bandits: #14 on map Druid rings: Also not a camp, but a landmark and a place where many an evil toon foolish enough to neglect invis have died on port-in. Well-guarded by a level 61 GM male druid with a girl's name and a tiny bear pet [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] . #10 on map. Regis/Regis the Reverent: Not quite a camp, more a quest mob of note. Loc +1214, -1579, along the north wall of the zone (sort of on the east side). West Karana: Bandits: 2 spots for these, #16 and #24 Ogres: #18 Choon and Froon: #19 East Karana: Crag spiders: by ramp to HPH, not really a camp but people hunt around here Farm: Safe spot with guards for good/neutral races, #5 on map Gnolls: #7 on map Highpass Hold: Gnolls: By EK zoneline Orcs: By Kithicor zoneline Stanos: Stanos Herkanor - he's in a specific spot but various methods put him in different places, plus he summons the other NPCs to wander to wherever he's fighting at a slow stroll so he kind of affects the whole zone. Raid mob for a side part of the Rogue epic. Highpass Keep: Basement/goblins/pickclaws: Down the stairs from the bank, pickclaw goblins Nobles: Upper floors Guards: throughout, but usually on the first floor WC: Dervs: #7 on map Orcs: #1 on map Toll booth: #9 on map Nightfall Giant: roams Shadowed men: In the SW corner of the zone, just before the grass turns to sand EC: Orc 1: #6 on map Orc 2: #1 on map Tunnel: 'North Ro' zone on map, is actually a long tunnel system used by players on p99 as a place for auctioning and trading and whatnot. City of Mist: Temple: #4 on map Stables: #6 on map Moat: Area surrounding #1 on map (it's...a moat!); common spot to put a group is on the lower right corner of the outside ledge of the castle. 2nd floor: ?? I think it's the upper levels of the castle but not sure. Arena: #3 on map the bit that's above the rest of CoM: I don't know if it's called anything but I know it's hell to get up there. Chardok: Royals: not quite a raid encounter since you can do it with a single (really good) group, but still a camp. Prince is in a different spot than King and Queen, but all three are in the inner castle. Zone-in/Zone-out tunnels: From and to burning woods, tunnels lined with mobs Lev tunnel/betrayer: next to the start of the zone-out tunnel, you have to float around the side of the wall to reach. Slave tunnels: connected to lev tunnel and can also be reached by jumping off the first bridge, full of non KoS slaves and home of Niblek Fort: First structure you see between zone-in and zone-out, leads to the rest of the zone. Library: just before you reach the area with king and queen Herbalist room: where necro epic mob spawns Sebilis: NG: Necrosis scarab, #4 on map (1st level) Prison: #3 on map (1st level) Disco 1: #11 on map (1st level) Disco 2: #15 on map (1st level) King: myconid king (fungi tunic), #2 on map (2nd level) Chef: #12 on map (1st level) Crypt: #17 on map

the EQ Map project actually has camp names listed at all the locations on the maps. So does p99 wiki maps for that matter.
