Default Newbie Necromancer - how do I make money?

Hey all!

Loving the community so far. Im a 29 iksar necro looking to grind and make some plats. I have been stuck at lake of ill omen but its not all that great. Im looking to move onto guards. Should i grind out lvl 30 in lake of ill omen then at 30 grind guards in rivervale? Looking for consistent income, none of those oddballcamps. Input would be appreciated. Thanks!

This is the definition of what OP said he doesn't want to do.

2 EC guards get you through 30 pretty quick and drop FS. After that head to WC guards till 34 (Call of bones) and then make your way to Misty thicket. Can go earlier but resists suck and call of bones is nice for this when you have mana to take out the tower guards. I'd head to hhk after that for yet again, more guards.

I would not do specs until 42-43. Any lower then that and the resists become a major issue. This includes your main 2. Fear undead and snare. The undead nuke at 44 really speeds things up. If your having issues at 40 ish, try kaesora. Lots of undead and plenty to start learning how to charm. This helps your learning curve for HS basement.

I would do Treants now and move onto guards in Misty Thicket around 32 and stay at the wall till mid to late 30's. After that head into Rivevale and kill the guards in there till low to mid 40's.

Damn it... Got to it before I could post it...

Do the guards in Rivervale or at least in Misty Thicket cause they drop the shields and the spears. The shields sell for 1pp but the spears sell for 9-10pp but you'll need to have someone sell them for you.

What most Necros do is get a bunch of backpacks and fill them up with spears. Have a newbie in the zone go sell the spears and then give the newbie a piece of the action.
