Default Max background FPS setting

Is there a way to increase my max_background fps? i stream on twitch and when i start doing things on my 2nd monitor my game drops to about 10-15fps.Its not because my PC cant handle doing what i do,because my PC temps actually go lower while the FPS drop happens and i use 2nd monitor.I know games like World of Warcraft have options to set ur max foreground and background fps and i believe this is what my issue is.I know the ingame options do not have the ability to change the setting but is there a file/folder in my directory i can fix it in?

Im not sure if theres an innate ingame option for this but you can use WinEQ to increase the background FPS if you want

There is an option in the EQ -> options menu, I'm not totally sure it works though, they have messed with a fair amount of the UI stuff so tough to say what works without trying it. I doubt that would be something they would intentionally change though.

I noticed this a lot myself, I run a dual monitor setup as well and when I would go to my second monitor to look at the wiki or whatever I would noticed my EQ would slow down like you said to 10-15 fps.

I never bothered finding a fix since to me it didn't bother me all that much, but at least I know it wasn't anything to do with my computer I guess, and it wasn't just me that was having this kind of issue.

I actually looked the other day and didn't see it either. I was going off of memory so looks like maybe you have to do it with a config file 😐

The max FPS slider in EQ TITANIUM is only for when the EQ window is the "focused" window.

The FPS slider that changes the FPS when you are not focused on the game wasn't introduced until later (luclin+)
