Default Force logout of character?

Hi,

Is it possible to force the logout of my character on another machine? I left myself logged in at home and can't play from my computer at work. I assumed that logging in would force me out of my other session, but that does not appear to be the case.

If not, nbd. Just curious.

I don't think this is normally possible. Maybe through the use of something like teamviewer or other remote access software but I'm not sure if you can (or if something like that is allowed, my guess would be, its not)

It's two characters per machine that's illegal, not two machines per character.

Right - to be clear, I'm not trying to dual box, I just mistakenly failed to log out of my home computer last night and didn't realize that P99 (maybe EQ1 in general?) will never forcibly log me off from the server, so I can't log into the same account from another PC.

I believe you’d need to RDP into your home machine to log out/kill process. A inactive logout timer option would be cool though!

Key word is "option". Classic, nope, but I think it would be a nice addition to the INI file.

Call your net provider and tell them to shut off your home connection.

Glad to help [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

edit: If you need to take it a step further call your electric provider and tell them you need the electric cut off.

Then you can log in [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] and next time don't forget to log out before you have to go somewhere.

Just go home sick. Tell your boss you have explosive diarrhea; no further explanation will be needed.
