Default rolling a troll SK

I'm thinking about starting a troll sk, and giving him a fungi to grind through levels in guk. The fungi is the only item of value I have, and even then I spent months saving up for it, as I am a dirty piece of casual scum who can't play for extended periods. So it's not like I can twink the character out with the best of everything. But I digress.

My question is, realistically what level do you think I could get to with a fungi, cheap weapon (deathbringer's rod) and cheap haste (SCHW)? I'm sure at some point mobs would start doing damage to the point that the regen effect wouldn't be able to keep up, and at that point I would start having to actively find high AC gear, but I just wonder what point that would be? Lv 40? Could a troll sk even get to 50 with nothing more than a fungi tunic?

With a Dark Elf SK twinked with a fungi, ebon mace, SCHW and everything else relatively cheap gear focused on HP/AC/STR... I started dying if I didn't pay attention at around level 30. From level 1 to 25 you can perma whack on whites brainlessly with 0 downtime. From there you might wanna move to blues and start being a little it more careful [You must be logged in to view images. Mobs can hit you for double 65+ and DD your face for like 200. So the 15hp/tick regen (or 17 for trolls?) is not gonna save you alone at that point [You must be logged in to view images. You don't need much worn AC to reach max mitigation against xp mobs at the lower levels... on my red warrior I got to 40 solo with just raw hide armor and the battle bandage technique.

If you throw in a set of banded or similar with your fungi/haste/weapon I wouldn't be suprised if you could easy mode to your 40s just in guk. Hell, you could probably push into your 50s if you aren't terribad.

XP Mobs start hitting much harder in the 40s. I found the Pained Soul PH to be a decent fear kite camp for my SK at this time, and it gives you a chance for a rare piece of your Veeshan's Peak Medallion (did like 5 levels there and didn't loot one *shakes fist at RNG*).

40, or couple levels earlier if your missing other gears - it's still doable, the downtime is just considerably longer vs. level 30 and earlier

I did something similar with a ranger. Only gave him a fungi, schw and silver swiftblade.

Made it to 45 solo no trouble at all if I hunted in the right spots. Crushbone > Karanas > Highpass > DL Yetis was my route. Probably a lot harder in Guk with all the casters.

You can get him to 55 in the right places, assuming you snare and use undead fear at some points.

Lower if you intend on face tanking

You can solo with fungi all the way to 60...

It will slow down at around lvl 40 and really slow down at around lvl 50. It will become extremely slow after 55ish.

If you're snaring and fearing on the SK you have a lot more wiggle room...if you just want to toe to toe melee you're gonna prob need to get some actual gear farmed/bought to keep that up at the upper lvls.

Not much you can do at 55+ soloing on it tbh unless you do shit like Skyfire or Bloodforge

It cuts downtime. You'll be fear kiting stuff very very slowly...but it will work. The fungi will cut your downtime, making it slightly less painful.
