Boat Schedule

Is there any rhyme or reason to arrival times on any of the boats in game. I know they take 30 min or whatever to make their trip. Does it line up at all with in game time. Like is the OT raft more likely to reach the outpost at 6 am game time or whenever, or is it pretty much mostly random. I've been using OT boat lately to run to TD pots lately and it would be the best thing ever if i could semi time the raft.
