Default MQ faction

So I noticed I have a pair of SS chain boots in my bank, totally forgot. My buddy could actually use these so I was gonna MQ them for him for free but my faction at present stands at dubious. Do I need ally faction to MQ the boots even though he'll be the one getting them? Was just curious as it could save a lot of time with grinding faction.

Both MQ provider and receiver need ally faction for skyshrine armor quests.

Yep. It doesn't matter if you're the MQer or the one actually completing the quest, because NPCs can't tell the difference - that's the whole reason multiquesting works. NPCs will eat items if you try to turn them in without sufficient faction.

It was at this point I decided to no longer be kind to the casuals as they have extreme short term memory. They did this to themselves, unfortunately.
