What lvl is Overthere on P99
Hi,
i just stumbled over zone information to OT on P99 Wiki and EQ-Atlas. On P99 Wiki it says OT is a Lvl 30-40: http://wiki.project1999.com/The_Overthere On EQ Atlas it is 15-45 http://www.allakabor.com/eqatlas/overthere.html I remember it was 15-45 when Kunark came out and since this is a classic server i thought it should be the same. Would be nice to know before travelling there by boat so can anybody confirm the one or the other information?

If you look at the details on the wiki page you'll see that there are indeed mobs in that level range, however they're grossly outnumbered by higher level mobs so you may be in for a rough ride.
Also kunark mobs have a lot more HP than old-world, but if you're wanting to explore then check out LOIO - it also has a high range like OT, but they're more separated into areas and less death squads meandering about. https://wiki.project1999.com/The_Overthere https://wiki.project1999.com/Lake_of_Ill_Omen -Mcoy

Thank your for your answers.
I had in my memories i was hunting near the outpost rhinos, sabertooth tigers and succulents and was always wandering why Rhinos drop money. I am pretty sure i was about lvl 15 when i went there but can be wrong.

Probably not by the outpost at level 15. The lower level mobs are on the east side of the zone, north of the Warsliks Woods zone line.

There's a spot in Overthere we used to call the "Mud pit" not too far from the Warsilisk Woods Zone line. There's a merchant there and ton of roamers that are good for the 15-25ish range if I remember correctly.

Different parts of the zone are different levels. Very rough and imperfect outline:
On the north shore, east of the outpost are the lowest level mobs, like 15-20? As you hit the eastern wall and head south towards Warsliks Woods they get a bit higher, 25-30. FM zone line in the middle of the southern wall is about 30-40 which follows to the western wall, heading north until you reach.. The Skyfire ramp on the west wall all the way north to the outpost is about 30-40 as well. The level ranges get higher as you head towards the center, so you can stay near those level range sections and fight your way inwards to creep up the levels without necessarily needing going to a new area yet. Just be wary of chickens who have relatively higher resistances, and tigers and rhinos who both have higher resists and run at jboots speed or faster. If you're going to quad it's a good idea to stick to the succulents whomst only run at normal speed and don't resist as much as those other assholes.

This is from memory and may not be 100% accurate in area but I've leveled several chars in OT.

Hmmm, I think we need to be careful in describing P99 zone specifics vs. Live zone specifics. It is entirely possible P99 has some level ranges or other factors wrong. After reading OP I do remember hunting at outpost on my SK before I had FD (which would be <29), war braids were excellent EXP. Granted, this was early PoP when I had a brief return to EQ and quit shortly afterwards, so not sure if some things about the zone changed.
