Old Xegony player looking for a hand

I used to play on Xegony quite some time ago, I had a rogue named Arel. I used to be in CoV but may have switched guilds at some point (been a while, memory is very fuzzy). Well, I was looking to log back in but from what the GM's have said the account may have been taken over by someone else that I dont know. This is my last ditch effort to reach out to anyone who may know the owner of my old account. I remember having alot of fun on this character and am just looking grab hold of some nostalgia so any help would be appreciated.

Are you talking about a live account (as in on the official servers) or an account that you used to play on Project 1999?

It is from a live account. I am asking here because there are many people who used to play on live that play on p99.

i used to play on Xegony and was also in COV. Had a 60 dwarf pally named Karamafie and a 60 Troll shaman named Gagzook. used to group alot with fellow guildies Bannon and Kriscore and Redwood.. We all left EQ when Wow started up. and started the COV guild over there. Had a Warlock named Manos there. I'm currently on P99 with a 56 Necro Named Skardid. Look me up in game. would be fun to talk about old times.

I played on Xegony from launch to a month or two after launch of Luclin. Dwarf warrior named Kaldek, was in Holier than Thou, which ended up merging into Eternal Vengeance. I too wanted to get back my original live account but couldn't figure out my log in credentials. What I ended up doing was remaking my live toon here on P99, and really enjoyed it. If you do end up playing here I would be more than happy to help you out.
