I have a new toon I started a couple days ago. He is in Qeynos Hills. I have been crashing since South Qeynos. I log in now and immediately crash. I need help.

I fixed it by logging in another toon, then logging out and back in with the toon that had the issue. Fixed!

This is a shot in the dark, but sometimes when people have problems with specific zones its because something is wrong with the zone file. If you have (or can create) a second installation and copy over all of the files that start with "qey2hh1" from the fresh installation to your's, that might help ... or not.

P.S. I don't think the patch files modify any of those files, but if they do you may also need to re-patch afterwards.

Shot in the dark, delete your character file in your install folder. This will reset the UI to the standard first login appearance.

Has been known to fix *some* crashing issues.

Is it a hard crash where the eq just stops running, or are you getting kicked back to login? Slow drives like older usb flash drives can cause crashes if you're running off a thumb drive.
