Default IP Exemptions
I got an exemption for my friend and I when he was at my apartment. If I bring my computer over to his house will the exemption still be in place or is it per address and not per account?

I believe IP exemptions are per account, not per IP address. You should be fine at your friend's house.

Shouldn't let exemptions last if you're not using it regularly.
If they were given one by the staff and it's active. you should be okay.
