I figured this out around a year ago. I’m not sure if it’s common knowledge but I figured I should share it.
If you cast scale of the wolf on yourself it drops if you cast any spell or attack. If you cast scale of the wolf on a pet (summoned or charmed) it will have a 70% run speed for 45 minutes and doesn’t wear off if it attacks or does a thing.

I remember swarming in NK on my bard at low lvls and this one griffawn attacked me and I couldn’t escape with selos and drum I’m sure a Druid was snickering somewhere

Another fun fact: If you cast scale of wolf on another player from another guild you can be suspended!
