Default Will the same dot's from different players stack?

I seem to remember that in the early days of EQ if two of the same class cast the same dot on a mob they would not stack.

I haven't leveled to that point yet to test it but I do have a friend that is the same class and I'd like to know if it will be an option to duo with her.

Thanks, really enjoying the new server. Appreciate all of the effort that went into it.

No. If two shaman both use Tainted Breath on a target, only the first one cast that lands will hold and the other will be denied.

That's how it was. Just determine between you two who's casting which. Unless your both druids.. then 1 nuke?

the same dot from different players will not stack.
This actually has a huge impact on the raid scene. Believe it, or not!

Your dots of the same type won't stack, but you can still duo just fine. Kill two mobs at once if that's necessary.
