Win eq not working crashing what to do?
Was using win eq to log in. Not working these past days.
It says Everquest support for wineq 2.0 was unable to initialize at this time. What to do?

The issue is caused by networking problems at the datacenter where the auth server for WinEQ2 is held. There is nothing to do but wait and try again until it's fixed.

Aren't there ways to run the game without WinEQ? What else do people use? Can you just hit the Everquest.exe?

Since I've started p99 I've used Wineq2.
If I want to get away from Wineq2 is there a way to make an eqgame.exe shortcut for each of my accounts so I don't have to type in station id and password each time I switch to another toon?

The last-used account name is stored in eqlsPlayerData.ini but I've no idea how to modify the launcher to call a different file name. You'd still have to type the password too.
