Anyone else super excited for EQOA Revival?
I played Everquest Online Adventures on my PS2 more than the original Everquest. Such fond memories of that game, the stylish animations the Monk had in particular. Killing Convicts and Felons near Qeynos for days. Duels in Freeport. Takes me back.
Anyone else here on pins and needles as EQOA Revival slowly makes progress towards a playable state?

I have been following it for like 4-5 years. Last update I saw like 6 months ago was that they just got currency working. Not sure how great it will be when finished.

I hope it's successful. I've seen a lot of people give it positive reviews with fond memories.

I don't remember which classes can Quad, but I want to play one of those, and I think Bard was one of them. They were much more competent at melee DPS than they are here.
Even though it's not fully optimal for a melee DPS class, I liked to pump Stamina and Agility to 100 so I could at least open up their AA's and get them to a decent score. Survivability would go up quite a bit, but overall damage wouldn't suffer too much, and all remaining points would just go into Strength and Dex.

I never played it but it looks interesting. If they ever managed to get it to work, I'd try it.

I'll pass. I am sick of multiplatform design, the last thing I want to experience is a console version of EQ.

Has something changed I wasn’t aware of? Because this “Revival” was being made by amateurs with no experience, split into 2 teams with different visions, last I heard.
