Hey im just wondering if i am in the wrong here. I sincerely dont know, thought i was in the right and dont want to fall a foul of official rules. I left the area after so as not to escalate the situation and also have screencap of situation but if i am in the wrong i would want to apologize

Camp checks aren't definitive. It's a courtesy not an obligation to answer them.

You still have to go and see if someone is actively camping before you start killing stuff.

i thought Rathe mountains was an outdoor zone and you could only claim 1 and pick up any others that were free

You're only allowed to claim one HG I think if no one is around you can claim more but if someone asks I think you have to pick one/find a way to split them between you.

Lol the good news is that even if you ended up being in the wrong (which you probably arent I dunno) your dispute is with one of the most hated players on the server for being ignorant to everyone, according to some post history. I haven't run into clayface yet but heard all the stories ;p I doubt clayfaces reports if actually made are even looked at

Clay spends most nights in Rathe killing HGs these days. I assume what happened is that he claimed Hobo, but was also pulling from 2T because no one was there. It also sounds like there were other open camps, like slant. So I will let you know what was probably going through his head while also highlighting what the rulings from the past say:

Hobo and 2T, as you probably know, are very close together and someone like Clay (lvl 50 enchanter) can easily hold down 2 spawns. Since there were other camps open, he was likely upset that you decided to step on his "double camp" when there were other options. I've also pulled from two spawn points when no one was there, so I can understand where he is coming from...

...that said, he really can only claim 1 spawn point, and if he was pulling from more than one, when push comes to shove, he'd have to choose and give up the others. Just two nights ago, I took 2T from Clay without any controversy when he had both Hobo and 2T before I got there, but all the other spawns were taken, so it's slightly different.

TLDR: If there were actually other spawn points open, then he was right to be upset that you took one of his, but he couldn't really do anything about it.
