DoT Spell messages

I've been away for a while and came back and started playing again. All my interfaces were goofed up but I've got most things back to where I want them. One thing I'm having a problem with is I no longer get damage tick message for my DoT spells. I just get messages that I cast it or it wears off. How can I get those back?
