Default Traveling and log-in

I’m traveling for 8 weeks. I’ll be staying in a hotel... I doubt anyone else plays p99 but what do I need to do to ensure I don’t trip and IP flags?

Anyone run into this before? No one I’m traveling with plays. Thanks!

You should be good. The chances of someone else playing P99 at your hotels is extremely low. For example one summer I played p99 off public satellite internet from across a lake. Bad internet I D/C'd a bunch but otherwise EQ uses very little internet so it can be played on the slowest of net connections.

P99 is setup to auto-temp block people who try to log into the same p99 server with multiple accounts.

If you've got the money you could invest in one of those cellphone internet dealios. Then you could bypass using hotel's internet.
Just don't multibox, you'll get detected, they have ways, some of which are automated..

Sometimes you can run your mobile phones internet as a wifi hotspot or tether with a USB cable, then connect the laptop to that for P99.

9 times out of 10 I have to do this to play in a hotel. A lot of hotel WiFi internet is all kinds of bad.
