Dual Monitor - 2nd Too Dark

It's necessary for me to use a monitor larger than my laptop screen to play the game. The problem is, while the game displays well, the output to the second monitor is too dark. No adjustment made helps. Nighttime is so dark, even ultravision is nearly unplayable.

Any ideas or helps?

Am I out of luck?
