Lets talk about our parents
I'm kinda drunk and introspective at the moment.
Does everyone get along with their parents? My parents where divorced from an early age and as a kid I adored my father, He was always the fun parent and would take me out on trips on the weekends he had me. He let me do what ever and he made me think my mother/stepfather where evil assholes. My father was always promising me all these great things and telling me all these stories and when they never came true he always had an excuse for not picking me up for what ever trip he planned and I accepted it. When I got older it slowly dawned on me that my blind love for my father was stopping me from seeing all the shitty things he did. He was connected to organized crime and did some pretty shitty things and he was terrible to his current wife yelling and hitting her and she just accepted it, it was horrible. When I turned 18,he took out multiple credit cards out in my name as well as a phone account and ran up a huge amount of debt. I'm still dealing with the consequences of that 8 years later. The worst part is how I saw my mother at those times. The true story was he abandoned us years ago and he rarely paid child support and I feel like shit ever thinking my mother was anything but a saint. I have not spoke with him in over 6 years but something came up today that reminded me of him. Anyone else have shitty father figures? Also this is a RnF post | ||

My dad was a gay Navy SEAL who couldn't handle his sexuality. He was also a narcissist, who constantly complained that no one "appreciated" what he did in Vietnam, which was to bang little Oriental boys in the poop chute. He used to make me and and my brother listen to Limbaugh, and watch Fox News constantly. We felt we had an obligation to join the service, but I got kicked out the the National Guard for being a retard, due to having my skull fractured by a pack of nigg... er, black folks. Now I lie awake at night, wondering what life would've been like if dad hadn't taken my on those "special" camping trips. I cry when I think about how much my butthole hurt on the ride back. Love ya, Dad. You were a true American hero.
