New Error I Need Assistance With

So I played for an hour earlier, logged off to cook some food, probably 90 minutes later I go to log back in and get the following error . . .

Error 1018: You currently have an active character on that EverQuest server, please allow a minute for synchronization and try again.

I've been sitting here trying to log in for 10 minutes and still get this message. So a grand total close to 2 hours I've been out of game, and when I logged I logged with /camp I didn't /q.
