What is Iksar Lore?

The Iksar all serve Cazic Thule the God of Fear no matter what class. Does that mean they want to destroy all other playable races in Everquest if they could? Do they want to establish total dominion on all of Norrath and make Cabilis the world capital?

"Followers of Cazic-Thule fear their Lord and believe that only by causing terror in others will they be spared his vengeful wrath. They strive to beat down and suppress all hope. Fear rules their lives and through fear they rule the lives of others. Pain, misery, violence, torture, living sacrifice; these are the tools of a Cazicite. Many Lizardman tribes are devout followers of Cazic-Thule, but his number of humanoid followers grows daily, a cold shadow slowly engulfing the bright spots of Norrath in a nightmare of horror and pain."

It seems the Dark Elfs want to rule the world Norrath and so do the Iksar. The Dark Elfs use Ogres and Trolls as tools. The Iksar rely on themselves only. Iksar is the race I chose for myself to play Everquest. I really like them. Are the Iksar truly evil? Do they want to dominate or even eliminate all other races and establish Cabilis onto all of Norrath? What is the Iksar goal in Everquest? Why are they evil? Note that every class only ever serves Cazic Thule as deity. They can't even be Agnostic.

What is the lore behind Iksar? Why is there An Iksar Hermit Necromancer, why did he become a hermit? Does he not believe in Cazic Thule or does he feel isolated from the other Iksar? Why? Usually if someone becomes a hermit he does not accept the social norm.

This is my favorite NPC in Everquest because I'm somewhat of a hermit myself in real life. Nothing to be proud of but I chose this lonely life for myself.
