I'm from california, live in germany, have friends all over, and lately I've been like "hey, karsten, maybe Texas ain't so bad"

advice?

also if your advice IS to move there, where to? i've only been to one city, san antonio, which was cool but i was there for like 5 hours on business.

austin is pretty hip. I lived there for about 8 months and enjoyed it. san antonio is miserable in the summer, stay far far away imo.

All the major cities in Texas are OK. Austin is probably the best, but nothing wrong with DFW or Houston. I've lived in NYC, DC and SF and I wouldn't mind living in Austin.

I'd recommend staying in California... why would you want to leave?

There are a ton of hot white girls in Texas though. So if that's your main draw, go for it-
