Humans - Begin your journey in Leont or Greenwood Cover
Halflings - Start in the charming town of Willowbrook
Ogres - Emerge from the mighty stronghold of Osgul
Half-Elf - Nomadic race partially realized, treated as Humans
Ashkin & Dryad - Join as visual variants, in their original design (treated as Humans mechanically)

All classes are available for races that can play them!

scrubs do it for free... actually no, they pay discord for the privilege via Nitro lol so discord gets to double dip on that front.

heard EverCraft was gud though, people were talking about it while i was playing a M&M test iirc

I'm interested to see how this all shakes out with AI and vibe coding though which neither of these projects are but in a world where everyone can make their perfect video game how do you convince people not to do that and come play yours instead, let alone pay for it.

don't even need other humans playing to ruin your experience either, why i was so interested in that Erenshor game that was also posted about here, but now i'm more interested in learning Linux and Information Security hooked on phonics style via LLMs than playing video games at all anymore

Dude, you hit the nail on the head there. I've been filled with existential dread the past few years. I've dedicated my entire life, and my livelihood is based, on creating and crafting worlds to share. Art is found in the struggle of the artist against their limitations and the ideas they are trying to convey. If you can masturbatory generate things on your whims, is it still art? As Isaac Brock said, if you could be anything you want, I bet you'd be disappointed. Now, as a professional game dev that uses AI extensively, I can confidently say we are a long, long way out from AI making AOA; but that it has empowered me to tackle things I couldn't before or with more speed. Our founder believes that even with the proliferation of the tools, the cream will still rise to the top, and the people best utilizing the robots will be the winners. Painters rallied against cameras saying their wouldn't be paintings anymore. Regardless of where it heads, cat's out of the bag and we're all on this ride together!
