New Patch Help?

Hi, I am old and barely tech literate enough to get P99 (my favorite game of all time) working after the patch.
I tried many times and I am worried I have messed up my game more.
Can someone give me an idiot proof step by step method of installing the patch files?
They are on my desktop.

Its the same process as when you installed p99 and had to patch it. The new patch is at the top of the front page

This video walks through patching, its kinda old but still the same process. So you'll be updating to patch v62

Sadly, now the game wont even start up as a result.
Have I messed it up before I reached out for help?

In a worst case scenario you can always re-download it and re-patch, but first ... what is the error that you're getting?

The error message I "was" getting was the one described in the video posted where there are 2 files shown on the character load screen.

I couldnt get it to work.

I now tried to reinstall following the video from "ElHefe"

That is what I used to originally install when I restarted in June.
Now when I try to start the game I:
1)It has version 46 (which is different than the video shows)
2) after patching I do not see the "batch file"
3) I do see the logo and it is an "application" . When I click on it it says "please run Everquest.exe" - a file that I do not see anywhere.

Please help.

V62 is the most recent patch, dump it's contents into the EQLite folder you got from "Elhefe" making sure it's copying the patch files to main EQLite folder and not inside one of the other folders inside EQLite on accident (maps,userdata,whatever)

and then run the Launch Titanium.bat file you copied over from P99FilesV62.zip inside the EQLite folder, should work.

The batch file is called "Launch Titanium".
When I run it is says :

Windows cannot find "eqgame". Make sure you typed them correctly and try again.

I have no idea what that means.

Make a desktop shortcut of the Launch Titanium and start it from the desktop

This is an easy way to have it know where your EQ Folder is located

Now I gotta grapple with my UI.
