Characters gone?
I haven't played in a couple yrs... So I updated to the latest patch... I can log in... but all my characters are gone... Any advice?

Two common occurrences cause this.
A) bad patching (eg. depending on your OS, you might need to fix the casing of a few of the patched file names) B) you are on the wrong server or the wrong account
