Default catastrophic failure

Tring to install P99 using the instruction page. Everything goes as expected and then a second into the install i get an error "catastrophic failure" and the install stops/crash.
I have installed P99 before using this method but on a diffrent PC.

Windows 11
AMD Ryzen 9 9900X 12-Core Processor (4.40 GHz)
32.0 GB (31.1 GB usable)

Thanks in advance

Don't install it to Program Files...

Have you tried install to C:\P99 or on a non-system drive? I know this is mentioned on the forum post, but it is easy to overlook.

If you have it installed on another PC, and you can still access that PC, just copy the entire game folder onto your new computer. After I installed the game for the first time, I copied the EQ folder on an external drive. I just copy it to whatever PC I want to play on.
