I want to play in windowed mode so I can use my second monitor to look up maps, items etc. Full screen distorts my second monitor for whatever reason and I can't figure it out. Unfortunately, when in windowed mode, the game is SO dark. I attached a screenshot from nighttime where you can't see a thing and then a phone pic (screenshot didnt work in full screen) from full screen mode where you can see it looks great. I have tried adjusting gamma and the compatibility settings (included a screenshot of that as well). Anyone know how to fix this? Is yours this bad too?? [You must be logged in to view images. unfortunately I am missing the "color management" tab referenced in this link. I'm on a new Lenovo legion 5i so maybe it's located somewhere else. I'm just scared to tweak to many settings that I don't understand because I dont want to mess up the computer forr everything else. but I would really love to play in windowed mode

Does your character have a light source? The bottom (dark) image seems to align with my experience of playing barbarian at night with no light source (or vision enhancements). Possibly just a day/night cycle difference.
Maybe try rolling a dark elf to see if its a night vision issue or actual game settings issue. | ||

I jsut have a split paw eye, but these pics are taken at the same time and I just got ultravision which only helps marginally on windowed. Is full screen just the one that is broken? and its actually SUPPOSED to be as dark as windowed?

Ultravision in windowed mode should be easier to see than the pic you posted in full screen so if its still super dark with ultra vision on then its definitely not a racial night vision issue.
