2 Weeks In - My Experience So Far
Good afternoon fellow Norrathians. I have quietly jumped back into P99 after being inactive for - I think - 10 years. The problem is I have ZERO clue what my old login used to be. All I had was a level 20 Druid and I was part of the Dial A Port guild, but I don’t remember the toons name at all. (Nick Frost voice) Shame.
I’ve decided to just start over and not worry about an old account from God knows how long ago. I rolled a Dark Elf Shadowknight named Kabluey. I somewhat regret it, because I wish I had rolled an Iksar SK for the forage and regen. I’m up to lvl 21 now in Paineel trying to camp the guards in either SK or Palace lows, but I’m having issues securing a camp consistently. I’m loving it though. I get tons of plat, easy access to vendors that con ally to me, and I can *somewhat* craft here too. I’m just now realizing that Odus absolutely sucks for crafting.
One thing is for certain, this community is insanely helpful. Easily best community I’ve ever been in for MMOs. FFXIV was at the top, until Asmongold started playing it and brought a TON of new players to it. I just wanted to thank everyone who has made this such a positive experience for me. I plan on hitting max, or at least close to max, and moving onto something different race/class wise. I was thinking either enchanter, necro, ranger, Druid, or Wizard.
