Default Weapon Procs - Again

Since the last update that changed how weapon procs work, i have seen significatly less prrocs on weapons I use and I have decided its not worth it to use procing weapons anymore, unless they also happen to be my best damage/delay weapon.

This is just my purely anecdotal observations. Has anyone else noticed a difference in the last several months after the proc changes?

Just one example - Weapons like wakizashi of the frozen skies that used to be great and worth a decent amount, are now practically worthless/useless because they no longer proc hardly at all.

BTW - 225 dex. A warrior that I build specifically to use procing weapons. Now Im ditching those weapons and changing the build because procing weapons now proc at such a low rate it makes them undesirable/useless. And they are very inconsistent. Generally I might see 1 proc per mob I fight, but once in awhile I get those proc sprees, where they suddenly go off like 5 times in 10 seconds, then go silent again for a few minutes. AND its usually when a mob is about dead that it happens, kinda funny, in a cynical way.

I wish they would revert those changes.

You should do some logging to see what the average proc per minute is.

My Shadowknight Epic seems fine proc-wise, and I only have like 150 DEX.

Getting multiple procs in a short period with some dry spells can happen.

The damage portion of procs are usually insignificant damage. Not sure which patch you are referring to but I remember on live weapons like master wu's trance stick procced once or twice a fight on average and amounted to basically a single 2hb swing per mob which is garbage.

Didnt some weapons have a lower/higher proc rate on live, maybe this patch rectified those comparative rates. Your weapons are on that list.

Also IDK

Wakizashi of the Frozen Skies - Proc Rate: 150%

I don't think proc rates existed until Luclin, but some Velious weapons have them, so who cares what I think.

Nah p99 devs changed the entire proc formula, like 1 or 2 patches ago.

150% compared to what other rates? Is it 1.5 times the usual rate?
Yeah, post Luclin sounds about right too.

Rogean: Rewrote the Proc Chance formula to more accurately take attack speed into account, to achieve 2 Procs Per Minute given max Dexterity and regardless of attack speed. Dexterity still has a large affect on proc chance. In most cases, this has resulted in a slight increase in chance to proc.
Procs haven't been changed that I can see in the last 6 years

There was a whole big discussion about it, and the changes were noticable in game. I could tell the difference on first day after the change. Ive already ditched most of my procing weapons because of it. Some weapons didnt seem to be affected, but others.. became trash tier.
