Quadding on a druid
How exactly? Druids get that one level 5 targeted AE, then it's all rain spells. I was practicing on low level centurions with the Cascade of hail rain, but couldn't get the hang of it, I take a hit and im lucky if I hit the orcs. I was doing it without snaring them, is that the issue that they were just moving too fast? I was being lazy and just pulling with my lvl 1 nuke.

so for druid kiting, you'll want to snare 4 different enemies and run around them in a circle until they stack up and then cast a column ae spell, not a rain spell
https://wiki.project1999.com/Druid i know the wiki doesn't do much to distinguish between them, but they have different gem colors in game at level 5, the one to use is invoke lightning but this really doesn't get efficient until 40s, until then you can just DS and heal yourself and pull with flame lick to watch things die on your thorns

You can use https://wiki.project1999.com/Luminescent_Staff to save mana when you are high enough level to click it. As Samoht said, the trick is you need to snare the mobs, and then run them around until they stack on top of each other. This makes it easy for the Targeted AE spell to hit all 4 mobs.

Charming is even more awesome, and you don't need to buy a staff to do it(lumi staff is really only good from like 45-52). Try this guide on the wiki: I started doing it at level 12 in East Karana as soon as I could charm, and it is how most druids hit 60 in permafrost. It's a blast.

Not my first character but I took a 4 year break. New account, I still gotta petition to get my old one back. It is kinda fun starring from scratch though. ran into Pyzn and bagged a GBS. Maybe the money will get my spells bought until level 50 I hope

Yeah if you're untwinked I wouldn't worry too much about quadding. You need a fairly deep mana pool which is hard without expensive gear.
Charming is going to be the fastest way to xp after about level 20, root rotting will be the chillest, but up until mid-20s melee isn't too bad, because thorns + treeform are both really efficient. | ||

Yeah, druids have the fastest-casting invis spell of the charm classes which certainly helps. The goblin gazughi ring is a nice QoL improvement and will save you from most of the occasional mis-timings or distracted "forgot to cast invis in time" but I don't think it's worth the cost if you're self-found or on a budget and the camp seems like a major pain in the ass. Charming is so efficient anyway it's fine if your pet poofs occasionally before you can break charm.
When the crocs start greening out EK is a great next spot, and then the Cazic Thule gator pit (at 28)/alley (at 32) are incredibly good xp. The pit is underwater and it kinda sucks having to harmony everything but if you don't mind the learning curve it's a great place to learn some crucial charm skills. Just make sure to snare everything. Are you on Green? Want a Sharkbone Warhammer? You playing right now? I keep a couple in the bank to give out to newbie priests. | ||
