NPC Spawn Issue: an odd mole

Myself (Zavriliss) and my guildmate Yamish were in Kurns camping the odd mole for my trooperscale helm for well over an hour before he popped. Yamish rooted him and I proceeded to beat him to half hp, and he promptly despawned. No Loot, No Xp, nothing, just gone from vision and target.

Any chance this guy is broken once again? Sat for 130 mins @ his spawn point today just staring at the screen and no luck.

I've been camping the odd mole for over 2 hours since his last spawn and havent seen him pop yet. Definitely bugged or not classic.

When the odd mole spawns, the path it follows is different than most. At the last waypoint, he despawns, and won't be seen again for an hour. From what I see, this is working.
