Crashes when loading character into world.

Ever since the new spell file. The game client crashes every time I try to load a character into the gameworld. I can get to the character select screen fine. But the game crashes and asks if I want to "Report the crash" and then shuts down EQ. I have never had any problems like this until the most recent spell file was downloaded and installed.

The new patch file has an ''old'' folder in it. It's not supposed to be there. If you didn't notice this, and extracted the ''old'' folder into your EQ folder then you'll need to start all over again and remove the ''old'' folder before you patch the file. Hope this makes sense.

Had same issues as above poster, now fixed. Ignore the the guy below.

1) Do a system restore to the last good save point on your computer, prior to extracting the new patch. (Search "restore" in your OS if you need to find the tool)

2) After system restore does its thing and reboots your comp...

3) Delete the "OLD" folder from the new v 16 patch zip and extract the v16 patch as normal into your eq folder, overwriting everything else as usual.

I did not extract the old folder and also crash every time I log in. I extracted the spells, db string, global load, and dsetup dll files as normal.
