Default Can Evil Races use the boat in EFP?

I am a Dark Elf SK (level 12), and I was curious if it's possible for me to use the boat in Freeport to BB.

I've tried the sewers, but on the way there are 2 rogues guarding a door (Beur Tenlah and Harkin Duskfoot) that are red/threatening to me. If I get an invis, will it get me past those two? And even if it does, are there more mobs that I will have to worry about by the docks that are KOS as well?

This is turning into a headache and I'm starting to doubt it's even possible.

Just curious if any other evil races/class have had any luck or know of a work around.

If you are getting an invis, you might as well just waltz right through the Port Authority. There are no guards out on the dock, but there is one fishing woman at the end of the pier -not quite sure what her faction is like.

I can not tell you, tbh, but on EQlive, my Innoruuk following DEF necro went to OOT and BB in her teens or early 20s for all I recall, and I didn't do any militia quests. So the orc killing alone must have gotten me non KoS to the freeport militia, which is really all you need to get to the boat, if you are careful.

Cheers,

Slozem

most dark elves are just barely threatening to the freeport militia on p1999. a couple hours of leveling at an orc camp in EFP will get you to dubious. the NPC at the dock is very low level and should con green to anyone who is lvl 10+ (i don't remember her actual level) so she won't aggro unless you sit down. you can also get to the docks through the underground portions of the city if you are still kos to militia. consulting a map is your best bet.

if you decide to take a tour of freeport, be sure to con every npc that isn't a militia guard from a safe distance. freeport is a very diverse place. the paladins, clerics, monks, and arcane spellcasters all will more likely than not still be KOS to you.

Do you mean Orc camps in EC? Or the wandering Orc pawns in the newbie area of EFP? I've been in a few orc groups in EC and I've killed a lot. I would do the DF belt quest, but I can't even get past the guards in WFP to turn into the guy at the militia house.

Also, I've tried the underground sewer route, but there are 2 rogues standing in the way I need to go. I think they are on militia faction as well.

Orcs in EC don't give Freeport Militia faction. I can't speak to your faction problem in the tunnels, although if the mobs are rogues they are probably on the Coalition of Tradefolk Underground faction.

I've read a few threads that say druid wolf form allows you to turn in orc belts regardless of faction, can anyone confirm?

I have done this on a troll and a DE, but I did it about a year ago so things may or may not have changed.
