What is the best class to duo with a rogue? I know ideally rogue isn't the best choice for a duo but if you were going to I think maybe a Paladin?

I leveled with a rogue on my bard. Worked out well as long as you have room to kite.

Bard, Ranger, Druid... anything that will let them kite mobs while you follow and backstab will be best.

Generally the best partner for ANY melee is a shaman. You have buffs like haste, debuffs like slow, regen and great heals. Top it off with Canni and life is just good all around.
The next "best" classes are the other two priests: Cleric and Druid. The necro would be close because it can keep the rogue alive and fear/snare. Then you get into the unconventional duos of the sk, bard, pally, etc. The ranger at some point when they get panic animal if you want to stick to beast slaying. The snare/fear thing does get old though compared to a conventional tank-n-spank. Now, if your friend has one of those classes at least you can group up and have fun. I just wouldn't roll a SK thinking it's gonna be competitive to a Shammy. Even with a rogue unless your fighting things that hit really hard it's gonna be a hassle for everyone playing fear ball fetch. You also don't always have the room. Sure it's fun for a few levels but try it for 60. The 4k plat or whatever for a Locustlure will sound like a bargain. | ||
