Red99 opens tomorrow. No GM management of raids. Come fight over it.

Its been said before. This is not a purely 110% Classic server. Its whats been termed as custom classic. The admins eat the costs of the server. If they want NToV to feature mobs from blackburrow, they have every right to. You guys in the larger guilds still "work your asses off", and are rewarded with *gasp* loot!

The fact that this post was eveb made just cements in my mind the utter childishness that needs moderation, which the staff does so well.

In short, quit complaining. You want live with the drama that goes with it, pay a subscription fee and go play live. Otherwise, enjoy the *free* game youre playing and the services that rogean and his crew are so dedicated to providing.

*Edit.* As a sidenote, the fact that this is only being done on opening night is what you seem to be overlooking. The situation isnt exactly permanant. So! Bottle up those tears, and store em for a later date. Not needed here [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I kind of like proactive GM involvement in raids... when they can't work out a civil rotation themselves...

I know on the fippy progression server... the gm's and top 3 raiding guilds worked out a schedule to rotate factions every week or so kael / skyshrine / dain .. unless of course the monster was up a retarded amount of time.. which almost never happened lol..

but yah... people and their shinies... if civility wasn't "classic" i think it is a worthwhile addition.

nobody cares if you can kill a monster 20 seconds faster.. its more about fun imo [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Unlike fippy, you cant HT bosses down with 3-6 SKs here. Nor are all the classes overpowered, F that care-bear server. Their top guild wouldn't last a month on p99, and if you look closely , Township's core made up of some of the old p99 players anyways. Now as far as i have been reading, GM on p99 have implemented a bunch of things in to lessen there involvement. As for how this top tier community works, if and when things get out of hand we do simmer down till of-cause one guild makes some aggressive move towards another and regardless neither would take it laying down and retaliate then the GM step in.

Here as a whole doesnt effect the rest of the community as a whole just the ones involved so its pretty much non GM involvement at all.

Speaking of fippy, full of haxors, even if Sony did crack down on 120+ account recently, over there they box groups, run MQ/ShowEQ/3rd party program that map everything, custom ui, etc that give a unfair advantage. Because of this over on fippy they have spawned over 5+ top tier guilds which in turn made this mess which is why a rotation was forced on them.

ok.. editing out all the vitriol and hatred you have for a regular server.. which i share

I think what you were trying to say was raids "doesnt effect the rest of the community as a whole just the ones involved so its pretty much non GM involvement at all. " (quoted last part from you)

which i would have to disagree with.. I believe raids and raid targets do affect the community in general.
