Default Travelling

So, with no maps in game I'm fairly confused trying to find people to group and level. I've been going to other websites to find maps but I'm not sure how everything connects. Here's what I have so far, any assistance figuring out where to go and what level i should be traveling through areas would be appreciated.

Troll SK:
In Innothule Swamp and trying to get to Greater Faydark:

Innothule --> South Ro
South Ro --> Oasis of Marr
Oasis of Marr --> North Ro
North Ro --> Freeport(? I think?)
Freeport --> ??

At this point I'm unsure where Freeport will drop me off and beyond that I have no idea what level I should be to travel through these areas safely (or at least avoid things that will annihilate me). Any help or a link to another thread or website that discusses this would be greatly appreciated.

There is a boat from East Freeport to Butcherblock (which is right next to Greater Faydark). Easiest way would to just find a nice druid or wizard to teleport you though [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Look up on the maps what sounds interesting and find the zones mobs through this -

http://eqbeastiary.allakhazam.com/zonelist.html

There are alot of instanced zones and added expansion zones mixed up but you can find the zones on p99 with the use of the map.

Keybind your sense heading to a movement key as an alternate button. It should be maxed by like level 9. That and the maps listed (and /Loc) will keep you from getting lost.

Your main problem as a troll sk is no invis till 30 (20 with circlet) which makes a little babysitting necessary to get to gfay. I'd prob grind the swamp and crocs in upper guk till you have port money.

Going to Faydwer as a new troll SK is going to be a pain in the ass. I strongly recommend staying in and around your starting area. You have great hunting grounds to start out with. You just need to be a little more proactive in getting people together. You can use /who all <zone name> to see who is hunting in nearby zones and shoot them a /tell to invite them to join up with you. You can run over to the more populated Commonlands zones, or Oasis depending on your level, and instantly find other people looking for groups. And as mentioned above, you can go kill stuff near the entrance inside of Upper Guk, and do fairly well to a point. Chances are, other people around your level will eventually pop in looking for a group, or something, and you can hook up with them.
