Computer Question.

I don't know a ton about computers so I am asking the ones who do here. My taxes came in after paying bills and such I have about 1400 dollars to spend to buy a new gaming rig. Looking to have a solid base with room to upgrade it when need be, if anyone has any idea's or paths they can lead me down it would be a great help.
