![]() Charming itself works fine, but Targeting a charmed npc is not right. A charmed npc becomes a pet type target at that point. As such, the owner of a charmed npc should be able to press F1, or whatever your self targeting button is, to toggle between themselves and their pet. You can currently press it all day and it simply targets yourself and nothing else.
Targeting a group member's charmed pet via their designated group target function key, typically F2-F6... works just fine... Also, "F8 targeting" or functions like "Target Next NPC" still target the charmed pet... which shouldn't happen. Sounds like the "I'm a Pet" flag isn't getting set when being charmed, it's still seeing it as a mob/npc.

![]() I'm getting the same issue with druid charm. I cannot use the "tap f1 twice" to get my pet. Somewhat annoying and it would be nice if it was fixed. Group members surely getting annoyed that it always comes up when theyre cycling NPCs.

![]() I believe this goes for any pet, charmed or no(can anyone confirm?). I'm not sure if it's because it's not classic, or if it's a bug.

![]() I didn't charm much on live back then... so idk if its a 'classic' feature but it sure is annoying because I got used to using F1 x2 to target my charmed pet.

![]() This isn't a bug with all pets. my summoned pet (Enchanter) i can cycle targets with F1. I believe it's a bug in EQEmulator, not really with this server specifically. But I figured it'd be worth reporting at least.
And it's definitely not a "classic feature."

![]() I second this complaint, found this searching for this exact problem. It was definitly avail in classic.
