hacked PP?

I’m new to the server (been here for 1 month) and I have heard rumors lately about people hacking millions of plat back in the early days of the server and not getting caught.

I have often wondered why are the prices so much higher compare to live...FBSS 10k +
Sarnak Battle Shield 14k, etc. I had these items on live and they cost me like 2-3k each. I think I have the explanation now....inflation as a result of hacking millions of plat!

Did it really happen? The server economy is truly fucked up...woud be nice to know why

Prices have actually been coming down a lot lately because the supply of "rare" items has been increasing faster than population.


I think prices are the way they are atm mostly because people have had time to farm up a lot of plat too.


economy is a bit jacked up but i think it will level out by the time velious hits. and its still plenty possible to farm up plat easy even on a level 1.

Prices are higher here because the population is much less. Less people camping items = less items = higher prices.

Forgot about the crazy amount of rmt on this server. They even have a website thats just for rmting p99 accounts, gear and plat.

You can get 12k for that FBSS after a solid day of killing seafuries, guaranteed. You might camp frenzy for 24 hours without an fbss. Seems about fair.

When I'm trying to get an item I just try to think about how many hours of camping it would take me to get it, and how much plat I could farm in that time. They usually come out about equal.

AND...if the price seems way jacked up, just camp one, sell it, and reap the benefits of the inflated price.

People raged to lvl 50 then farmed the shit out of Seafuries.

Lots of plat in rotation.

Seafuries, hill giants etc were camped pretty much nonstop for years. Was definitely a big factor, although i'm sure some duped plat remained in circulation despite the bans.

Either way it's not a huge barrier to playing. Earn a nice item and sell it yourself for those prices, etc etc etc etc
