Default Problem with CrossOver Games on Mac

Hi Guys, as the title says i am have trouble loading p1999 on my macbook. I was using Crossover games which hasn't given me any trouble in the past but is not working after patch v22. I am unable to get to the log in screen. Currently when i try to run the program eqgame in crossover games the program starts up and then crashes after a few seconds with no explanation.

I have tried to re-patch the v22 patch which has not helped. I downloaded the wineskin which i got set up and has the same problem of the program starting up and then quitting after a few seconds. Ive gone through the "how to set up p99 on mac" thread and all the adjustments are correct in my files that i could identify.

I am running Mac OS X 10.5.8 and using CrossOver Games 8.1.4.

I know this isn't a lot to go on but i would appreciate any help or ideas you guys can offer.
Thanks in advance.

Default CrossOver Games 8 is *way* old

Hey Shortstop,

That version you're using is more than three years old. We're up to version XI now, and it might behoove you to download our trial version and give that a whirl. Wine's gotten a lot better in the interim, and you may have better luck.

Best Wishes,

Hi Jon,
Thanks for the reply, I downloaded the new trial version and am having the same problem with the program not starting. This has me thinking that the problem is in my game files and not your software. Thanks for the suggestion i will continue to troubleshoot my game files.
