Getting a deleted character restored?

I quit playing about a year ago and just recently found some free time to start again. I deleted my main character thinking I wouldn't be back. Does anyone know if they are willing to restore deleted characters here? I've already made a post in the petition forum. But if I'm just wasting my time I'd like to know

I am pretty sure since they won't reset account passwords and etc that restoring a character isn't on their list either. Might want to get confirmation from a staff member, but just re-roll. Plenty of awesome people here will help ya out.

You maybe wasting your time by posting in that forum ... yes. Just a guess but probably won't be able to restore because it happened so long ago. Maybe though...who knows. Best thing ya can do is bump your petition every few days.

Only Rogean can do it, and restoring stuff people do on purpose is not one he normally takes time to do. You can try and catch him in IRC, or keep bumping your petition thread and hope.
