New player looking for advice/guide

Hi, I'm new to this game. I made a Halfling cleric and have been reading guides on stats, leveling and equipment. I am wondering if there is someone out there who is familiar with the game, has a mic-program (ventrilo, teamspeak, etc) and would be to be my 'mentor' for the game. I need information like appropriate locations to exp for my level, tips on quests not to be missed, quest to be ignored/skipped, etc. My game name is 'Medixx'.
