![]() Its that time again people, another toilet thread.
I get into these arguments with my mom when i visit and sleep over frequently. I dont care if the seat stays up or down. My mom says its a question of respect, and that "Well, dont you think about me when i go to the bathroom at night half asleep and "fall" into the toilet?" Im like "mom, when i go to the toilet at night, i dont fall into the toilet cuz i check where the toilet seats at first". Im a very practical person, i dont fold socks and towels because i thought about the amount of time ill have wasted at the end of my life doing this as a kid, and never did afterwards. So no matter how hard i try to be nice to my moms and do it, i forget it 2 times out of 3 because my mind cant grasp the logic in it. Am i being an insensitive jerk, is there something missing in my picture that is not making me understand why this is disrespectful? To me it seems some archaic form of subconscious chivalry thing more than insensitivity on my part. I guess its just a habit she didnt adjust out of yet (men lifting up the seat) and shes pissed im making her fall in the toilet when i visit? VERY important subject, feedback please. | ||
